International Student Mental Health Peer Work Program Evaluation

The International Student Mental Health Peer Work Program aims to address the critical mental health needs of international students within tertiary education by employing international student peer workers with lived experience of mental health challenges.

This evaluation assessed the program’s impact, feasibility, and potential for broader implementation based on feedback from peer workers, institutional staff, and international students accessing the service. The report found the program to be an effective resource for enhancing mental health outcomes among international students, with 9 in 10 survey respondents agreeing they would recommend the prorgram to others.
