Elroy has been a resident of Perth his whole life and is a passionate political, community and youth mental health volunteer.
Elroy currently studies Commerce at Curtin University. His interest in this topic is for the purpose of communicating “the knowers and the doers” to cooperate in achieving outcomes for government and society.
Elroy looks forward to bringing his political and community volunteering knowledge and skills to the youth advisory council. He hopes to contribute with his own lived experiences and the lived experiences of others to achieve a better outcome for young people. Through his own experiences living with and supporting someone living with mental ill-health, he has been able to gain a wide understanding of flaws in the systems and processes that are currently present in both youth and adult sectors, which has given him a passionate belief in reform for his own state.
