Suicide prevention and response strategy

This submission to the development of the Victorian government suicide prevention and response strategy, focussed on four of the themes outlined in the discussion paper. These included strategic vision, priority populations, and priority areas.

Our submission identified a number of important issues, including the need for sustained and systemic prevention efforts and a youth-focused implementation plan, the importance of lived experience partnerships and the role of data and evidence, and the provision of training and frontline support, and bereavement and post-care support.
