Critical to the project, particularly the Global Framework for Youth Mental Health and Advocacy Toolkit, is the engagement and participation of young people around the world.
So far Orygen has conducted face-to-face consultations with over 150 young people from North America, Asia, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Africa. Consultation has included in-person, online focus groups and interviews with young people.
The Forum’s Global Shapers Community has also contributed significantly to the project. The Global Shapers Community is a network of young people who drive dialogue, action and lasting change in over 153 countries around the globe, many who have a keen interest in driving mental health change.
