Social connectedness and depression

Social connectedness and depression

Help us support young people with depression by improving their social environment

This study aims to identify ways to prevent, treat or manage depression in young people by improving their social environment (e.g. social connectedness).

We would like to include the voices of young people who have had previous experience with depression to ensure that our study's outcomes are as relevant to young people as possible.

We want to hear from you if you:

  • have had personal experiences of social disconnectedness, or positive experiences of social connectedness;
  • have a particular interest in contributing to information related to social support, connectedness or inclusion; and
  • are aged between 16-24

Participation will involve a one hour focus group via Zoom. Participants will be remunerated with a $30 digital Coles gift voucher for your time.

Please note: focus group numbers are limited, if you are not contacted for the first stage of this research you may be added to a waitlist and contacted in later stages of the study.
