Advocacy and Partnerships Adviser

 

Ella Gow is an Advocacy and Partnerships Adviser at Orygen. She has nine years’ experience in advocacy, partnerships and project management in the youth mental health sector. 

In her current role, Ella leads engagement and partnership strategies that connect government, mental health sector leaders and youth-led organisations to drive policy and systems reform. She manages projects across the Orygen Institute’s portfolio and contributes to government relations and advocacy initiatives. 

Previously, Ella helped establish Orygen Global, where she led the development of its youth engagement strategy. She also coordinated youth engagement for a global World Economic Forum project, ensuring young people shaped international mental health policy. 

Ella has a background in public health and health promotion, and brings diverse leadership experience through various lived experience advisory roles and as a Youth Commissioner for The Lancet Psychiatry Commission on Youth Mental Health
