12 August 2021

How well is the current health system serving young people? And what do they need from healthcare in the future?

These questions and more will be discussed by young people, policymakers and healthcare providers at the upcoming Youth Health Forum Summit on 15 September.

Franklin Cooper, a 21-year-old youth worker, mental health and LGBTQIA+ advocate and UNICEF Australia Young Ambassador, who is also on Orygen’s youth participation team, is a keynote speaker at the event.

Professor Pat McGorry, Executive Director of Orygen is also a panellist at the session, ‘Young People as Change Makers: A Reflection’ alongside Associate Professor Michelle Tefler from the Royal Children’s Hospital, and Youth Health Forum young leaders Jasmine Elliot and Zinab Al Hilaly.

Orygen is a sponsor of the summit.
