Dr Jane Watts

Dr Jane Watts is a Non-Executive Director with more than 30 years' frontline experience across banking and financial services as a senior executive leading significant P&L business with Westpac (including BT Financial Group), Macquarie and Lendlease. Most recently Jane was the Chief Customer Engagement Officer for the Business Bank of Westpac, including St.George, Bank of Melbourne and BankSA SME and Commercial Banking.

Jane serves as Orygen Youth Mental Health Foundation Board Chair and is a member of Orygen's board as a Director. She is also on the boards of Liberty Financial Group (ASX: LFG), Qoria (ASX: QOR) and Westpac Foundation. In addition, Jane is also on the Hospital Advisory Board of Birchtree Centre and a Director for the B Team Australasia’s Climate Leaders Coalition, with accountability for the Carbon Investment Scheme, Credible Transitions to Net Zero and demand-side energy solutions to reduce members’ supply chain emissions.

Jane was formerly a Non-Executive Director on the financial advisory and accounting boards of Findex and Lachlan Partners. During her years as an executive, Jane also sat on numerous internal boards and Foundation boards, such as the ACTU-Lendlease Foundation and the Lumbu Foundation for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Families and Young People.

Jane has a Bachelor of Social Science (cum laude), an Honours degree in Psychology (cum laude) and a PhD. in Organisational Psychology. She is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors course.
