Jane Laidlaw


Jane Laidlaw is the Chief of Clinical Operations at Orygen, where she leads the strategic and operational delivery of youth mental health services across five headspace centres and the Parkville Youth Prevention and Recovery Care Unit (Parkville YPARC). With over two decades of executive leadership experience across health, not-for-profit, and retail sectors, Jane is a transformational leader known for driving innovation, clinical excellence, and system reform.

Jane has led major collaborative initiatives, including the co-location of primary and tertiary services at Victoria University Werribee, and has played a key role in redesigning Orygen’s national Clinical Governance Framework to strengthen accountability and quality.

An APRHA-registered Occupational Therapist, Jane also holds a Diploma in Gestalt Therapy and is a Certified Human Resource Practitioner. As an alumna of the Advanced Leadership Program with Women in Leadership and an accredited DiSC facilitator, Jane also has a strong commitment to developing leaders and building high performing teams.

Jane is passionate about shaping a world-class youth mental health system and providing accessible, high-quality services for young people across Melbourne’s north and west.

She is dedicated to embedding research into service delivery, ensuring that innovation is grounded in evidence and contributes to continuous improvement across the sector.
