Coping skills toolkit

In this workshop, you will learn about a range of skill-building interventions that you can use to assist young people to manage difficulties with their mental health, emotions or their coping. You will learn strategies to support young people to identify and manage challenging emotions, and you will develop skills and strategies to support young people to learn problem-solving skills.

This workshop is facilitated by Orygen.

PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is specifically designed for professionals working with children, young people and families in the north-western and western metropolitan regions of Melbourne, who may not have specialist mental health training. This workshop will be held in the Orygen Colonial Foundation Innovation Centre, 35 Poplar Road, Parkville.

Please arrive by 9.15am for a 9.30am start. Paid parking is available on site and at the Melbourne Zoo nearby. Public transport is available at Royal Park Station (Upfield line), and Tram 58 (West Coburg).
