Trans pathways: Understanding referral options for young people who are trans and gender questioning
In this workshop, you will learn about referral pathways for young people 12–25 years, who are trans or gender questioning. You will learn about new service pathways in the northwest and west of Melbourne. You will also learn skills you can use in your own role, to identify and respond to the support needs of young people.
PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is specifically designed for professionals working with children, young people and families in the north-western and western metropolitan regions of Melbourne, who may not have specialist mental health training. The training will comprise didactic and interactive experiential sessions. The workshop will include PowerPoint slides, video clips, online documents, and both large and small group discussions. Regular short breaks will be included throughout the training.
Participants will need a computer, laptop or tablet with internet access and a working camera and microphone to take part in the workshop.
