Orygen is pleased to have been announced as the preferred tenderer to operate headspace Melton.
Orygen led a strong consortium of organisations that will support the delivery of headspace Melton services.
Orygen will now work with the current provider, Odyssey House Victoria, and the North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN) to undertake the process of transition.
Acting Executive Director, Mr John Moran, said a detailed transition plan will be developed with the intent to minimise disruption and ensure continuity of care for young people and their families in Melton during the transition.
“Orygen and our consortium partners have a strong commitment to providing quality services to young people and families in the Melton area and working closely with the Melton community to continue the development of headspace Melton,” Mr Moran said.
headspace Melton opened in September 2018 and has been providing a valuable service to the young people of Melton and their families since then.
Orygen currently operates four headspace centres and associated services in Glenroy, Sunshine, Werribee and Craigieburn with the support of a strong consortium of service providers and partner organisations.
