Virtual reality

In our state-of-the art VR lab we are designing, building, testing and delivering new interventions for young people that are safe, effective and fit-for-purpose.

The lab and clinical space are a world first in youth mental health. It provides the critical space for Orygen Digital to develop, research and deliver cutting edge virtual reality treatments for young people.

The VR lab has three core purposes:

• Boost research and innovation through the development of novel, virtual reality-based treatments with essential, state-of-the-art infrastructure and technological features for efficient development, testing and clinical implementation
• Conduct user testing and digital co-creation sessions with cutting edge technologies to capture user input and usage behaviours of new technologies under development, and
• Enable clinical implementation and translation through digitally supported interventions and group programs within a fully supported, ready-to-use environment that feels safe and comfortable for young people and clinicians.
