Lucia Valmaggia is Professor in Clinical Psychology in Youth Mental Health at Orygen, leading the XR Innovation Program for Orygen Digital.

Professor Kelly Allott is a Professorial Research Fellow and clinical neuropsychologist. Kelly leads a cognition research team at Orygen that focuses on understanding and supporting cognitive functioning and functional recovery in youth with mental ill-health. 

Associate Professor Gillinder Bedi is a Senior Research Fellow at Orygen and the University of Melbourne, and a clinical psychologist. She joined Orygen in 2017 to lead the development of a substance use research program.

Professor Sarah Bendall is a Professorial Research Fellow at Orygen. She delivers, supervises and researches new psychological interventions for young people with complex mental health problems.

Associate Professor Andrea Phillipou is a Principal Research Fellow in Eating Disorders at Orygen and The Centre for Youth Mental Health at The University of Melbourne. She is the Head of Eating Disorders Research and leads the Scientific Work in Anorexia Nervosa and Other Eating Disorders (SWAN) Research Group.

Associate Professor Magenta Simmons leads Orygen’s Youth Involvement Research, which includes research into shared decision making, peer support and the involvement of young people with lived and living experience.

Helen is an Emeritus Professor of Psychiatry at Orygen and the Centre for Youth Mental Health, The University of Melbourne and Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Mental Health in Melbourne. She is a psychiatrist and public health physician with national and international experience in mental health research and its translation, and service provision. She is appointed Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) and included in the Victorian Honour Roll of Women.

Associate Professor Dominic Dwyer is a leading researcher in youth mental health and artificial intelligence, with a vision to make care more proactive, personalised, and preventative.

A/Prof. Caroline Gao uses maths and statistics to analyse and better understand health data across Orygen's specialist research teams, to ensure team health policy and practice keeps pace with technology to deliver the best possible care to young people.
