Youth Advisor in Governance

Jasmine Elliot

Jasmine (she/her) has been a passionate mental health advocate for the better part of eight years, from co-founding a headspace youth reference group in her hometown, Gladstone (QLD), to working in peer support and on the headspace National Youth Reference Group. Although Jasmine’s passion stems from lived experience of trying to seek help for mental illness in rural/regional Australia, she also has awareness of the systems at play, as a 2024 Psychiatry trainee and member of the Loddon Mallee Interim Body for Mental Health and Wellbeing. Jasmine has developed her interest in governance as a member of the Youth Affairs Council of Victoria Board. Outside of work, you'll find Jas at a farmers’ market, hiking or trying a new recipe.
