Youth Peer Workforce

Orygen employs a number of youth peer workers across its four headspace sites to provide the option of peer support for young people accessing headspace’s services.

At the Sunshine and Glenroy sites young people can access youth peer workers that focus specifically on finding and maintaining employment.

Generalist youth peer workers welcome young people to headspace centres, provide insight into navigating the service, co-facilitate groups, provide peer education in schools or support the delivery of community activities and events.
