Orygen Global aims to advocate for policy and investment in youth mental health globally.
We have commenced a process of both highlighting the mental health needs of young people and advocating for better investment in this extremely under-resourced area.
Our challenge is to ensure we amplify the need to invest in the mental health of young people globally; clearly articulating the link between investment in youth mental health and the social and economic will be critical.
Some key activities include:
- developing and promoting tools and resources which support communities and young people to advocate for better investment in youth mental health in their region or country;
- actively understanding the issues and emerging priorities for youth mental health across different countries and regions; and
- collaborating with young people globally who have indicated their interest in being part of a global movement who seek to advocate for change and investment in programs that support young people.

This toolkit is designed to give you the tools you need in advocating for youth mental health. You don’t have to read the whole document, or even a whole section.
