Nurin

I am a graduate research student exploring engineering in medical imaging and analysis. As a lived experience ADHD advocate, I am passionate about raising awareness and advocating for mental health in my community where specific knowledge and resources might be limited. I believe that evidence-based research is a strong tool in social change advocacy and I hope to be a voice towards positive change.

My project is to create a support group with monthly meetings, check-ups and educational sessions that are open to the public, but particularly focused on ADHDers and caregivers. The sessions will include a sharing circle, providing an open environment for attendees and organisers, a peer support program and expert sessions with relevant professionals.
