Who is this course for?

This course is for mental health professionals who work with young people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

What will you learn in this course?

You will develop an understanding of the basic principles of providing mental health treatment to adolescents and young people in the context of a comorbid ASD, how to develop a treatment plan for a young person with an ASD and comorbid mental health condition, and how to modify traditional mental health treatments to take into account the cognitive, communication and sensory differences that autistic people experience.
